Learning objectives
The course aims to train the methods and tools of teaching the Italian language, preparing to recognize the fundamental moments in the history of language training (through the sources, the voices of the authors, the testimonies) and therefore to evaluate the teaching methodologies in relation to the possibilities offered by the most recent approaches to teaching and acquiring L1, also with reference to acquiring L2. The aim of the course is ultimately to prepare for a critical approach to the methods and possibilities offered by current teaching tools, both in L1 teaching and in L2 training.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge
At the end of the course, the student will be aware of the evolution of language teaching, in its main historical moments and episodes; will be in possession of the basic notions of the main techniques currently used in teaching the Italian language.

Skills
The student will be able to verify the possibilities of applying the knowledge acquired during the teaching opportunities that, after the degree course, will be presented to those who follow the teaching career in secondary school.
