The workshop will focus on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in media and news analysis. Students will have the opportunity to explore the opportunities and risks associated with the use of AI in this field, and to understand how this technology is transforming the way news is collected, analyzed, and disseminated.
1. Understanding AI in Media: Provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of how Artificial Intelligence is utilized in the realm of media, particularly in news analysis.
2. Exploring Opportunities and Risks: Explore the potential opportunities presented by AI in media, while also addressing the inherent risks and ethical considerations associated with its implementation.
3. Transformation of News Practices: Examine how AI technology is reshaping traditional methods of news gathering, analysis, and dissemination, and assess its impact on journalistic practices.

Use of research and analysis tools for a final paper.
