Learning objectives
Sviluppare concetti e conoscenze critiche sul processo di ricerca in psicologia
Sviluppare le abilità che permettono di esaminare e valutare criticamente le ricerche in ambito psicologico
Sviluppare autonomia e consapevolezza critica circa rispetto alla realizzazione di disegni di ricerca.
Sviluppare competenze specifiche nel trasferimento della ricerca in applicazioni pratiche, in particolare nell'ambito delle risorse umane

Expected learning outcomes
The workshop aims to develop the following skills:
Critical thinking skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will display a sufficiently independent critical approach in selecting and interpreting the notions that are most relevant their area of study and to the broader socio-cultural context in which they operate
Communication skills:
By the end of the workshop:
- students will be able to effectively communicate the acquired knowledge and disseminate it to the general public;
- student will have developed basic IT skills concerning knowledge preservation and transfer.
Learning skills:
By the end of the workshop, students will have developed the learning skills required to continue their studies in keeping with their own research interests. In order to meet this objective, students will also develop relevant skills in the independent interpretation of sources and in the use of basic IT tool for bibliographic research.

Friday, 18/10/2024: The normativity of the body image, a genealogy
Friday, 25/10/2024: The normativity of the body image today and the concept of the uncanny
Friday, 08/11/2024: Meeting with "disabili pirata" and exploration of other projects aimed at giving voice to divergent bodies
Friday, 15/11/2024: Discussion and feedback from students

Prerequisites for admission
No prior knowledge is required
Teaching methods
The meetings include a lecture part, a meeting with the activist group "disabili pirata", and a discussion part on the topics covered.
Teaching Resources
Learning materials will be made available at the beginning of the course and include PPT presentations for each meeting and relevant bibliographical references.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Methods of Learning Assessment and Evaluation Criteria: Students are expected to actively participate in all lessons. In addition to contributing to discussions, they will be required to produce a short written paper on one of the topics covered during the lessons or participate in a group presentation.
Evaluation Criteria:
Independent judgment;
Ability to collaborate in a team;
Communication and expression skills, including the use of information technologies;
Ability to summarize and write correctly;
Autonomy in using and verifying sources, as well as basic bibliographic and IT tools for research and scientific updates.
