The role of the school manager in the main legislative and regulatory provisions:
- School autonomy (L. 59/97) and management qualification (D.Lgs. 59/98)
- D.Lgs. 165/2001

- CCNL Education and Research Area (three years 2016/2018)
The areas of incidence of the work of the head of the school:
- Area of the school system
- Administrative legal area
- Vocational and training area
The profile of the manager in defining and implementing the school policy and the strategies functional to the academic and educational success of all students:
- guarantee the right to study for all students
- improving the provision of training in schools of all levels
- bridging existing inequalities
- promote educational and digital innovation processes
- promote effective policies for the development of school staff
- rethinking learning environments in an innovative way
- revitalising school autonomy and enhancing the national evaluation system
- education for active citizenship
- invest in the integrated system 0-6.

Prerequisites for admission
It is not required specific prerequisite, even if it is appropriate knowledge of the principles of the Italian Constitution and the Italian State ordering and the main European Community rules of law.
Teaching methods
Main teaching methods adopted:
- frontal lesson
- case studies and discussion in the laboratory
- presentation of topics relevant to the workshop and collective discussion
- deepening of papers and articles on cultural journalism
- written practical exercises (corrected individually by the teacher).

Assessment methods and Criteria
The student's participation must be regular. The student must prepare the assigned oral and/or written works. At the end of the laboratory sessions, an orientation exercise of the treated contents will be administered. The continuous oral interaction with the teacher and between the students constitutes the main mode of verification of learning. The final evaluation is "Approved" or "Not-approved".
