Learning objectives
Finalized to the direct and practical knowledge of the project carried out in the 30 years of life of the Cultural Association Torri Superiore, the Laboratory aims to introduce students to the reality of the Ecovillage both from an architectural and building point of view and from a social and entrepreneurial point of view.
Expected learning outcomes
Students will have the opportunity to do the following activities:
- Guided tour of the medieval village, presentation of the relief, the press review, the photographic documentation on the original state of the village before the restoration.
- Tale of the 30 years of history of the ecovillage, the stages of restoration and construction of the resident group.
- Introduction to the general principles of permaculture planning, which has inspired many of the activities and choices made both at agricultural and social level.
- Introduction to group dynamics, decision-making methods and facilitation of meetings.
- Theoretical - practical activity

Prerequisites for admission
The laboratory is aimed at students enrolled in the course of studies in the Humanities of the Environment, Land and Landscape (enrolled from 2017/2018) and students of the Humanities of the Environment, Land and Landscape (enrolled before 2017/2018). Knowledge of the basic concepts of human geography is recommended.
Teaching methods
The teaching methods used include face-to-face lectures, guided field tours, practical and theoretical group work, flipped classrooms.

Assessment methods and Criteria
Students will have to write a short written report on one of the topics discussed during the workshop.
