Teaching Workshop: Teaching Film and with Film Education in Schools

The aim of the workshop is to think over, with the female and male students, about the potential of the use of filmmaking disciplines in the school environment.
The idea is to propose a use of the film which overcomes a superficial and instrumental approach, to substitute, for instance, a disciplinary content with a film that deals with it, and to consider the several opportunities the school offers: from the teaching of the audiovisual disciplines in the secondary school, to the planning of the extracurricular activities linked to the film literacy, passing through the planning and implementation of the educational courses which deal with history, literature, literacy for non-Italian speakers and with the social studies.

At the end of the learning path the students will be able to plan educational courses which deal with the filmmaking disciplines.
