Conoscenza e comprensione
Al termine del percorso le studentesse e gli studenti saranno in grado di:
- descrivere il funzionamento di un neurone
- identificare le diverse parti dell'encefalo
- descrivere i principali e più influenti modelli neurocognitivi legati alle diverse funzioni cognitive
- associare diverse reti neuronali a diverse funzioni cognitive.

Capacità di applicare conoscenza e comprensione
Al termine del percorso le studentesse e gli studenti saranno in grado di:
- applicare le conoscenze apprese per l'esposizione dei problemi, l'analisi dei fenomeni e l'individuazione di possibili soluzioni nell'ambito delle neuroscienze cognitive.
Expected learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- describe how a typical neuron works
- identify different parts of the human encephalon
- describe the most influential neurocognitive models related to different cognitive functions
- link different neuronal networks to different cognitive functions

Ability to apply knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course, students are expected to be able to:
- apply the knowledge gained to present problems, analyze phenomena, and identify possible solutions in the field of cognitive neuroscience
