Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with a theoretical and methodological foundation to understand
the nature of decision-making processes within groups, with particular reference to the healthcare
field. Special attention will be given to intragroup and intergroup dynamics that can influence the

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will:
- have acquired basic knowledge about the formation and functioning of social groups.
- have developed analytical and interpretive skills related to cognitive, communicative, and
social dynamics that can influence interactions within groups.
- be able to apply key psychological theories to describe the complex relationship between
decision-making processes, productivity, and group well-being.
- be capable of communicating information, ideas, problems, and solutions related to
decision-making processes within groups, using specialized disciplinary language."
