Course syllabus
The course is divided into three parts.
The first part is institutional and introductory to corporate governance, the second focuses on business and the accounting information system, the third develops the analysis of work organization decisions.
The business administration part of the course aims to teach the basic principles and tools for the government and development of companies of all kinds such as corporations, public administrations and organization with ideal motive. To this end, it develops
· the fundamental principles and concepts of the logic and instruments of corporate governance;
· the fundamental choices of company management;
· the basic method for the formulation and management of strategies and collaboration between companies;
· the main methods of analysis of the efficiency of the company's production systems.

The accounting part of the course aims to know how to apply
· the fundamental principles and concepts of accounting as the language of the company;
· the double-entry accounting method through a gradual series of practical applications;
· the accounting processes necessary to prepare the financial statements (balance sheet, income statement).

The organization part of the course aims to give tools in order to make decisions on the subject of:

Prerequisites for admission
The course is a basic course, therefore there are no prerequisites of knowledge to access it other than those already required to access the degree course.
Teaching methods
The course is delivered through lectures aimed at presenting the fundamentals of business theory, also through the analysis of practical cases and exercises carried out with student participation. To support the lectures, teaching notes related to the main sessions and slides with audio commentary are available on Ariel.

Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination takes place in a written test lasting 75 minutes. The text is composed of three open-ended questions that will cover the different topics covered in the course and a set of multiple-choice questions. The evaluation of the open-ended answers will take place in relation to the correctness of the economic language adopted, the correctness of the answer and its completeness. The grade is expressed in 30 maximums, while the closed questions weigh one third of the total grade. The results will be communicated through the online recording that provides for the possibility of rejection of the vote.
