Learning objectives
Analysis of behavioral, cognitive, and emotional-motivational deficits: The central objective is to investigate the behavioral, cognitive, and emotional disorders in patients with brain lesions or dysfunctions, in order to acquire knowledge useful for diagnosis and rehabilitation.
The course also integrates fundamental elements of neuropsychology related to psychiatric syndromes and forensic neuropsychology, providing a comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective on the subject.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student:
· will be able to recognize and assess the main behavioral, cognitive, and emotional-motivational deficits related to brain lesions or dysfunctions, understanding the clinical manifestations and the neuroanatomical correlates.
· will acquire skills to plan targeted rehabilitation interventions, with the aim of improving the quality of life for patients affected by neuropsychological deficits.
