Learning objectives
The overall goal of the course is to familiarize the student with statistical reasoning, interpretation of clinical information from the psychological literature, and decision-making and relationship skills.
Expected learning outcomes
Students must acquire practical skills in data analysis and the use of software relevant to their future clinical practice, such as: E.g. spreadsheets and relational databases

Introduction to the clinical question and data analysis
Introduction to descriptive and inferential statistics
Introduction to the concept of sampling distribution
Prerequisites for admission
No prior knowledge is required.
Teaching methods
Laboratory teaching involves both lectures and hands-on activities (discussions and simulations)
Teaching Resources
The reference material for the course will be provided by the professor in the classroom during the first lesson.
Assessment methods and Criteria
A student is considered eligible if they have met the minimum attendance requirements for the laboratory sessions and have actively participated in exercises and/or case discussions.
