Methods and Technologies in Rehabilitation

Learning objectives
The aims of the course are:
- to describe and to apply the main rehabilitation techniques used in the rehabilitation of disabilities in the pediatric age and in the multi-trauma patient, knowing their principles, indications and contraindications;
- to describe and to apply the main special rehabilitation techniques in the neurological and orthopedic fields;
- to use teaching and learning principles for informative and educational interventions aimed at patients, families, groups and communities;
- to acquire the ability to take on leadership functions for support operators and students;
- to describe and use aids, orthoses and prostheses and interact with the operators in charge of their design and packaging;
- to identify the biomedical equipment and methodologies and use their applications as a support in the rehabilitation field also for the purpose of scientific research.

Expected learning outcomes
The student must be able to apply the rehabilitation project in the neurological, orthopedic, cardiorespiratory, visceral (pelvic floor) areas with particular attention to the main rehabilitation methods.
