Theoretical foundations of communication, negotiation and mediation; introductory, exploratory, negotiating and concluding phase of mediation; mediation exercises and simulations; participation in national and international competitions.
Teaching methods
Lectures on the theory of mediation and negotiation.
Simulations of cases, debriefing and discussion.

Teaching Resources
Past cases from the Paris International Chamber of Commerce Moot Mediation competition, the Vienna Consensual Dispute Resolution Competition, and the Milan Competizione Italiana di Mediazione.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The final positive evaluation and the attribution of 3 ECTS credits occur in the event of active participation in national and international mediation and negotiation meetings to which the University of Milan's Team will be admitted.
