Learning objectives
The Integrated Course aims to provide students with a multidimensional understanding of healthcare organization, combining historical, legal, managerial, and organizational perspectives. Through the study of the evolution of medicine, healthcare systems, ethical and professional responsibilities, and business models in healthcare, students will acquire theoretical and practical tools to understand and address the challenges of modern healthcare. The course promotes a health culture that is conscious, ethical, efficient, and quality-oriented.
Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to:

Analyze the organization of the Italian National Health Service and compare it with other healthcare models.
Recognize the legal and ethical framework governing healthcare professions, with specific reference to orthoptics.
