Teaching Workshop: Research Methods in Humanities

Learning objectives
The teaching workshop aims to give reinforce the training of students interested in the methods and problems of the research areas covered by the master degree programmes in Philology, Literature and History of Antiquity and in Modern Humanities. The teaching workshop will present the research of teachers from a wide range of disciplines, and will allow students to specialize in their chosen field of studies but also to understand the methods used in other disciplines.
Expected learning outcomes
The students will achieve:
a deeper understanding of the research methods in the fields covered by the two master degree programmes;
the ability to use the methodological and bibliographical tools developed in other fields of study;
the ability to distinguish between different ways of approaching the objects of scientific research.
