The course aims to provide a brief overview of the main areas of bioethics reasoning. After some introductory notions on the origin of the word "bioethics", the main historical cases related to its development, and the presentation of the main ethical theories and approaches used in bioethics reflection, the course will explore the main ethical issues related to the fields of clinical ethics and research ethics. A specific module will be devoted to reproductive ethics.
