The main goals of the course are: stimulating the scientific discussion on the topics debated during the field trips and during workshops to be held each day at the evening; developing the capacity of problem solving within a complex geologic context such as that of collisional belts; improving the critical sensibility while using the scientific literature and interpretative models regarding the geological issues treated during the field trips.
