Student will be instructed on the correct procedures for the selection of housekeeping genes, the design of primers using appropriate software and data analysis. The following lessons will be held by specialists and will decribe more innovative technologies in the field of gene expression analysis, addressing the following topics: qRT-PCR analysis using microfluidics systems, digital PCR, multiplex gene expression analysis, in situ hybridization and RNAScope techniques. The course will include theoretical lessons and in some cases a practical activity will be included. Sessions will be organized over 3 half-days, of which 2 in person and 1 virtual.
