The course comprises an overview of the NGS technologies and workflow from the library preparation, the sequencing to the data analysis. The data analysis is made by lectures and practical sessions where students are performing Bioinformatics analysis on NGS data: preprocessing, alignment, normalization, differential expression and functional enrichment. The course is focus on developing practical skills on NGS data analysis, basics Linux and programming (Python/R).
Recommended for doctoral students of the first year, minimal understanding of the programming language R or informatics in general.
