The course will present the latest acquisition in the field of 2 and 3D co-cultures to study the complexity of the brain. New knowledge on key events/pathways that regulate physiological and pathological mechanisms in neurons, i.e. both plasticity and dysfunction of the synapses, analysis on how this new knowledges could be translated to test different neuroprotective drugs.
Mandatory for students of the Phd programme in "Pharmacological Biomolecular Sciences, Experimental and Clinical" at first year, 38th cycle
