The aim of the cycle of lessons consists in providing a deepening on the fundamental principles of functioning (or structural) of the European Union, declined with respect to some policies specific to the supranational system. Particular attention will be paid to the principles of subsidiarity and proportionality, the principle of sincere cooperation and mutual trust between Member States. The aim is to provide each student with a trorough and transversal knowledge of the principles in question and their relevance in the chosen policies, providing useful tools to verify their consistency and scope even in areas of European Union competence other than those covered of specific analysis
