Bringing the history of reading to the attention of doctoral students as the history of a practice, in this case during the 20th century, that has its own history, both individual and collective, which it is essential to reconstruct in an interdisciplinary perspective, bringing in historical methods, but also methods from other humanities disciplines and now also the digital humanities.
