The programme aims to develop a specific skill set for those healthcare professionals treating and/or caring for paediatric patients facing nephrological, urological, and nephro-urological diseases. The programme is therefore intended for paediatricians with an interest in this field, as well as nephrologists needing to care for paediatric patients, urologists treating children and adults, as well as paediatric surgeons.
In addition to the specific paediatric and urological training, the core focus of the programme is children with congenital or acquired deformities in their kidneys and urinary system who, over the course of their treatment, will encounter a diverse array of doctors and surgeons, including obstetricians, neonatologists, nephrologists, imaging specialists, urologists, and potentially dialysis technicians and transplant specialists as well.

Il corso si rivolge ai possessori di laurea magistrale a ciclo unico conseguita nella classe LM-41 Medicina e chirurgia ex D.M. 270/2004, ovvero nella corrispondente classe ex D.M. 509/99.
