Master Coordinator
This vocational master programme aims to provide participants with advanced specialised training in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic-perineal dysfunctions. Teaching will explore not only the mere physiopathological aspects, but also the psycho-social implications that these conditions can have on a woman's sex life and quality of life in general. The programme will cover the various therapeutic strategies (both invasive and non-invasive), with a specific focus on pelvic-perineal re-education, which is considered a key element of treatment pathways. Upon completion of all activities, participants will be able to properly assess pelvic-perineal dysfunctions, to perform targeted clinical exams, and to design personalised treatment plans aligned to the specific needs of each patient.
The programme will start in the second semester of AY 2025/2026 at the University of Milan. It includes 285 hours of lectures (corresponding to 36 university credits, or CFU), 47 of which will be delivered in e-learning format, and 216 hours of other forms of training (13 CFU). Participants must also take a 250-hour internship (10 CFU) and a final oral exam (1 CFU), for which they will be invited to discuss a clinical case.
The tuition fee for participants will be euro 3016,00, including the insurance costs.

This training programme offers doctors and midwives concrete career prospects, as it equips them to work in women's clinics specialising in pelvic-floor dysfunction - a field in which the demand for healthcare services is steadily growing.
