To perform an in-depth cellular and molecular analysis of the basis of disease. Selected topics (see belo) will be the subject of study, and presentation of recent articles will follow a general introduction for each of them.

Prerequisites and examination procedures
No prerequisites.
Written exams (Open questions). Students attending the lessons and volunteering for the auxiliary test can sustain an oral exam that will consist of the preparation of a presentation (with the help of the teacher and in small working groups) regarding the program topics.
