French Specialised Translation

The course aims at forming or introducing the student to the main theoretical and practical issues concerning translation. The theoretical competencies acquired in the field of Translation Studies will form the basis to face with critical awareness the translation from French into Italian of texts of different disciplines.Throughout the course, students are expected to convert the theoretical knowledge acquired into practical knowledge, so as to acquire solid professional skills.

Students are expected to acquire a good theoretical knowledge in the field of Translation Studies. Theoretical skills are to be considered as a tool enabling students to enhance practical skills in translation.
