Landscape Laboratory
A.Y. 2018/2019
Learning objectives
Knowing how to define the planning context in which a project fits;
Knowing how to identify the available tools and public stakeholders to start a redevelopment project;
Knowing how to identify and analyze the costs and benefits (direct / indirect, market / non-market) related to a project;
Knowing how to use these skills applied to a case study.
The course aims to provide students with the necessary tools to address the issues related to rivers restoration, both natural and artificial environments in rural area s. Another goal is to acquire knowledge and skills in relation to the restoration project.The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge of plant ecology, to describe the distribution, current and past, of individual species and of plant communities on Earth, to provide the scientific tools for studying plant communities, also in order to correct interpretation, management and landscape design.
