Learning objectives
Una caratteristica degli esseri umani è quella di essere in grado usare combinazioni di parole o segni dotate di significato per comunicare i propri pensieri. Questa capacità solleva diverse domande per il filosofo: qual è la relazione tra il linguaggio e il pensiero? Cos'è il significato? Quali sono i meccanismi che rendono possibile la comunicazione? I corsi di filosofia del linguaggio affrontano questi problemi discutendo le soluzioni che vengono proposte. Il metodo adottato è quello della tradizione analitica, caratterizzato dalla formulazione rigorosa delle argomentazioni
