Humanities (Classe L-10)-Enrolled from 2011/2012
Il corso di laurea in Lettere si propone di fornire allo studente una solida formazione di base, metodologica e storica, negli studi linguistici, filologici e letterari, dall'età antica al Medioevo latino e alle origini romanze sino all'età moderna e contemporanea, anche in relazione con le culture europee, e di fornire la capacità di affrontare, comprendere e analizzare testi e documenti in originale. Il percorso di studi assicura la conoscenza della cultura non solo letteraria e linguistica, ma storica, geografica e artistica dell'età classica, medievale, moderna e contemporanea, la buona conoscenza di almeno una lingua dell'Unione europea oltre all'italiano, la capacità di utilizzare criticamente gli strumenti bibliografici e informatici negli ambiti specifici di competenza.
Le competenze e le conoscenze disciplinari acquisite, e le esperienze in laboratori e stages, consentiranno ai laureati in Lettere di esercitare ruoli professionali che si collocano nei campi dell'editoria, del giornalismo, nelle istituzioni che organizzano e promuovono attività culturali e in tutte quelle sfere occupazionali che richiedono buona conoscenza del patrimonio culturale e librario, efficaci competenze di scrittura, specifiche cognizioni letterarie e linguistiche e una sicura abilità di gestione critica dell'informazione.
Il laureato in Lettere sarà in possesso di quella formazione umanistico-letteraria di base essenziale per accedere ai successivi percorsi di studio finalizzati alla professione di insegnante nella scuola secondaria, e a master di primo livello, in particolare nel campo editoriale, pubblicistico, dell'insegnamento dell'italiano agli stranieri.

Per essere ammessi al corso di laurea in Lettere occorre possedere un diploma di scuola secondaria superiore o altro titolo conseguito all'estero, riconosciuto idoneo, e un'adeguata preparazione iniziale.
Per frequentare proficuamente il corso di laurea si richiede il possesso delle conoscenze di base nelle discipline italiano (letteratura e linguistica), storia, latino, e - solo per chi intende iscriversi al percorso antichistico - greco, unite al possesso di sicure capacità espressive, di comprensione ed elaborazione dei testi scritti. Chi intende iscriversi al corso di laurea in Lettere dovrà obbligatoriamente, prima di formalizzare l'iscrizione, sostenere un test di valutazione che verifichi la sua preparazione iniziale e consenta una scelta più motivata e consapevole del corso di studio. Every year the Department of Literary Studies, Philology and Linguistics offers around forty fellowships through the Erasmus exchange program. Their duration varies from five to twelve months. Currently, the exchanges cover many of the major countries of the European Union (France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Rumania, Portugal), as well as Switzerland. According to the scientific areas of the Department, the Erasmus exchanges are particularly addressed to students specializing in classics, in medieval, modern and contemporary Italian literature, in philology and linguistics.

f - Rientra nel percorso didattico al quale lo studente è tenuto ai fini della ammissione alla prova finale (corrispondente a 9 CFU) il superamento della prova di verifica relativa alla competenza di una lingua straniera dell'Unione Europea e la frequenza a due laboratori (ciascuno per 3 CFU) scelti all'interno di quelli proposti dal Corso di Laurea o da altri corsi di laurea. Attività lavorative o di tirocinio o di formazione professionale possono essere sostitutive di un laboratorio, previa richiesta dell'interessato e approvazione.
Ciascuna attività comporta l'acquisizione di crediti formativi nella misura così stabilita:
a) Laboratori di avviamento ad attività professionali, tirocini formativi, esperienze in ambiente di lavoro; laboratori di approfondimento disciplinare; laboratorio di scrittura; conoscenze informatiche; eventuale conoscenza di una seconda lingua straniera, per un totale di 6 CFU.
b) Conoscenza di una lingua dell'Unione europea, oltre all'italiano, a scelta tra francese, inglese, spagnolo e tedesco: 3 CFU, secondo la seguente modalità.
LINGUA INGLESE
- presentando una certificazione di livello B1 (o superiore) riconosciuta dall'Ateneo (elenco consultabile sul sito dello SLAM: http://www.unimi.it/studenti/100312.htm)
- sostenendo, nel caso non si possieda tale certificazione, nel periodo settembre-dicembre del primo anno di corso un test di posizionamento per il raggiungimento del livello B1 (o superiore) organizzato dal Servizio Linguistico dell'Ateneo di Milano (SLAM). Gli studenti che dopo tale prova non raggiungeranno il livello B1, dovranno seguire, sempre nel primo anno, un corso organizzato dallo SLAM nel secondo semestre. Al termine del corso avrà luogo un test di valutazione, cui saranno ammessi solo gli studenti con almeno il 75% di frequenza. Chi non supererà il test finale, potrà sostenere nuovamente il test nelle sessioni successive.

g - Lo studente ha inoltre a disposizione altri 12 crediti, di cui può liberamente disporre. Tali crediti possono essere destinati a incrementare l'impegno in alcuni degli insegnamenti già scelti all'interno del piano di studio, sempre all'interno del numero massimo di crediti erogati da tali insegnamenti; possono essere altresì destinati a aggiungere un insegnamento a quelli previsti dal piano. In nessun caso, secondo le norme di legge, lo studente potrà sostenere un numero complessivo di esami superiore a 20.

f - Rientra nel percorso didattico al quale lo studente è tenuto ai fini della ammissione alla prova finale (corrispondente a 9 CFU) il superamento della prova di verifica relativa alla competenza di una lingua straniera dell'Unione Europea e la frequenza a due laboratori (ciascuno per 3 CFU) scelti all'interno di quelli proposti dal Corso di Laurea o da altri corsi di laurea. Attività lavorative o di tirocinio o di formazione professionale possono essere sostitutive di un laboratorio, previa richiesta dell'interessato e approvazione.
Ciascuna attività comporta l'acquisizione di crediti formativi nella misura così stabilita:
a) Laboratori di avviamento ad attività professionali, tirocini formativi, esperienze in ambiente di lavoro; laboratori di approfondimento disciplinare; laboratorio di scrittura; conoscenze informatiche; eventuale conoscenza di una seconda lingua straniera, per un totale di 6 CFU.
b) Conoscenza di una lingua dell'Unione europea, oltre all'italiano, a scelta tra francese, inglese, spagnolo e tedesco: 3 CFU, secondo la seguente modalità.
LINGUA INGLESE
- presentando una certificazione di livello B1 (o superiore) riconosciuta dall'Ateneo (elenco consultabile sul sito dello SLAM: http://www.unimi.it/studenti/100312.htm)
- sostenendo, nel caso non si possieda tale certificazione, nel periodo settembre-dicembre del primo anno di corso un test di posizionamento per il raggiungimento del livello B1 (o superiore) organizzato dal Servizio Linguistico dell'Ateneo di Milano (SLAM). Gli studenti che dopo tale prova non raggiungeranno il livello B1, dovranno seguire, sempre nel primo anno, un corso organizzato dallo SLAM nel secondo semestre. Al termine del corso avrà luogo un test di valutazione, cui saranno ammessi solo gli studenti con almeno il 75% di frequenza. Chi non supererà il test finale, potrà sostenere nuovamente il test nelle sessioni successive.
LINGUA FRANCESE, SPAGNOLA E TEDESCA
- presentando una certificazione riconosciuta dall'Ateneo (elenchi e livelli necessari consultabili nelle pagine dello SLAM http://www.unimi.it/studenti/100312.htm)

g - Lo studente ha inoltre a disposizione altri 12 crediti, di cui può liberamente disporre. Tali crediti possono essere destinati a incrementare l'impegno in alcuni degli insegnamenti già scelti all'interno del piano di studio, sempre all'interno del numero massimo di crediti erogati da tali insegnamenti; possono essere altresì destinati a aggiungere un insegnamento a quelli previsti dal piano. In nessun caso, secondo le norme di legge, lo studente potrà sostenere un numero complessivo di esami superiore a 20.
