Learning objectives
The main learning objectives of the course are:
- to know the main neuropsychological investigation systems and the main syndromes in adult and childhood;
- to know the main psychiatric illnesses and the therapeutic possibilities;
- to know the main neuropsychiatric diseases;
- to know the principles of building a psychometric test;
- to know the main tests of intelligence in different age groups.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to know the clinical pictures of the main psychiatric and neuropsychiatric pathologies as well as the main neuropsychological assessment tools.
Course syllabus and organization

Single session

Prerequisites for admission
With reference to the Didactic Regulations (art.20), To access the second year, it is essential to have achieved at least four exams of which:
- biological, physiological and morphological sciences
- linguistic, philosophical and socio-pedagogical sciences
- applied speech therapy sciences: propaedeutics
The student must also have passed the first year traineeship exam.
Assessment methods and Criteria
Assessment of the learning will take place through a written test with open questions and/or multiple choice questions. The total duration of the test, which includes all modules of the Integrated Course, is 120 minutes. The evaluation criteria used will be the ability to list and organize the acquired knowledges as well as their application for the resolution of short questions. The evaluation of the teaching will be expressed in 30th and will be the result of the weighted average of the votes acquired in each module of the teaching. Ongoing tests may be planned towards the end of the course. The results of the tests will be communicated to the students through online verbalization system of university.
