Learning objectives
At the end of the course, students will be able to autonomously direct their didactic-musical projects to student training and complementary musical learning; in addition, they will be able to critically address contemporary didactic literature and the activities of understanding and musical production provided for in any order and degree of teaching.
Expected learning outcomes
Fundamentals of developmental psychology;
cognitive processes in relation to experience, experimentation and musical skills;
active teaching elements applied to the plurality of educational and musical activities;
understanding of widespread "musical behaviors" and their modification in enhancing musical intelligence.

Course syllabus
Cognitive processes; skills of knowledge; experience, experimentation.
Pedagogy in music perspective: perceptual systems and process of experimentation.
Education, instruction, music teaching.
Motivation and learning needs.
Musical intelligence (understanding and producing), sensorimotor music perception (schemes of order, widespread quality), ear training, metrical organization of the timestream.
Historical methodologies of the twentieth century: A summary.
Exercises in guided listening, music notation, vocal practice, body percussion.
Prerequisites for admission
Good musical skills.
Teaching methods
Frontal group lessons mainly of an expository nature,
in the form of discussion and laboratory.

Distribution of notes postponed to the discussion of each topic.
