Learning objectives
The course aims to deepen the issues related to the natural risks in mountain areas through a theoretical-practical approach, in which the students study some basic issues related to the assessment of the risks in mountain territory and the possible actions for their management and mitigation. The course will examine a real study case.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have a knowledge concerning natural risk assessment in mountain environment and in designing and manage mitigation measures. The student will obtain knowledge and comprehension skills as well as well as an improvement of their judgment skills.
