Learning objectives
To recognize, monitor and manage psychiatric emergencies
To gain the ability to establish relationships with people suffering from mental disorders and their families or caregivers.
To gain the knowledge and methods for the management of nursing care, from a clinical-assistance and rehabilitation point of view, to the person who presents biophysiological, physiopathological, psychological and socio-cultural signs and manifestations related to the state of neuropsychic disability.
To improve the knowledge of the techniques of relationship of nursing care with the person, the family, the groups of users.
Expected learning outcomes
The student will be able to describe the etiopathogenetic and pathophysiological mechanisms of relevant neurological and psychiatric diseases, and the diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation indications and the relative urgency.
The student will be able to identify the appropriate relationship support techniques to be adopted with the person with neuropsychic disability
The student will be able to describe the nursing care needs and the most effective interventions for individuals with different neuropsychic disabilities.

Having passed the exams of Anatomy and Human Physiology, General Nursing Sciences, Clinical Nursing Sciences 1 and Internship 1.
Assessment methods and Criteria
The written test includes closed and / or open-ended questions.
The evaluation of the written barrier test DOES NOT give rise to a mark, but only to admission to the oral test.
The oral exam includes questions the assessment of which relates to the following parameters: content, logic, language properties.
The evaluation of the oral test is out of thirty.
