Teaching methods
During the course students will be asked to get involved using the technique of "role playing".
· Teaching method: frontal lessons, team works, simulations.
· Educational material on Ariel platform: theoretical course.
The teaching will be provided by differentiating, based on the contents, lectures supported by slides or films, practical exercises or simulations and group work with specific objectives.
Frontal lesson
Group discussions
The course integrates lectures with activation of course participants, integrated with small group exercises (production of written material and related analysis). Work materials are uploaded to the e-learning platform.
Topics will be addressed by favoring an active teaching methodology, which enriches the theoretical contributions through the use of individual and group works, filmed contributions, in order to favor the integration between a research work and personal elaboration and the work of the group-class.
The course is divided into several methods of performance.
Lectures are planned with the use of slides and exercises for small groups in the classroom. The last lesson includes a visit to the various departments of a residential (RSA) and semi-residential (CDI) structure with observational participation in educational / animative activities.
During the lectures the active participation of the students is solicited, through the clarification of doubts or perplexities, this in a perspective of dialogue and common work for the search of the best strategies.
It is provided with illustrative material for tools used in educational work with the elderly.
The use of reference texts or handouts prepared in advance is not envisaged, but, in addition to the slides and the essential bibliography indicated, students are invited to share in class any materials that the different lessons have suggested to them.
The production of documents is not foreseen.
