Learning objectives
Introduction to the knowledge on rheumatological and endocrine diseases and in particular diabetes, which has numerous complications of podological interest.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have to know the main endocrinological diseases and the related treatment. Furthermore, the student will have to know the evolutionary aspects of endocrinological pathologies, in particular the anatomical damage and disability affecting the lower limbs and the foot.
Course syllabus and organization

Single session

The teaching, given the current health situation, will be carried out entirely at a distance.
Prerequisites for admission
Notions of general anatomy, physiology and physiopathology are required
Assessment methods and Criteria
The exams will take place with a written test with open questions possibly supplemented with an oral examination always oriented to test the student's ability to know the pathologies described during lessons

· Foot lesions in rheumatoid arthritis

2) Seronegative spondyloarthritides
· Ankylosing spondylitis
· Undifferentiated spondyloarthritides
· Psoriatic arthritis
· Spondyloarthritis associated with inflammatory bowel disease
· Enthesitis and dactylitis

3) Crystal arthropathies
· Gout
· Chondrocalcinosis
· Hydroxyapatite-associated arthropathy

4) Connective tissue diseases and vasculitides
· SLE
· Undifferentiated and mixed connective tissue disease
· Raynaud's phenomenon and scleroderma
· Dermatopolymyositis
· Vasculitis

5) Extra-articular rheumatism
· Myofascial pain syndrome
· Fibromyalgia syndrome
· Tendinitis
· Bursitis
· Peripheral neuropathy
