Learning objectives
Development of structural and lexical bases of modern Greek language, in order to reach a basic level of communicative competence.
Expected learning outcomes
Basic linguistic abilities (capacity to understand and communicate, both in written and oral form, on elementary topics);
linguistic reflection, with particular attention paid to historic development of Greek language;
basic knowledge of elements of modern Greek culture and modern and contemporary Greek literature.
