Learning objectives
This course, integrating with other disciplines to guide students towards a European and international dimension, aims to introduce students to the study of the French language and is intended for those who have not had the opportunity to study it previously.
It aims to provide the elements to develop a linguistic-communicative competence that corresponds to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Within the SIE training program, a further development of the acquired language and communication skills can be achieved by including an advanced language assessment (level B1) worth 3 ECTS as one of the further training activities or more advanced French language courses offered by the University as free choice exams.

Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course, students will be able to: demonstrate knowledge of the basic morphosyntactic structures and vocabulary studied during the course; recognize, understand, and reuse these structures and vocabulary in general written comprehension and production activities, based on the work done during the course, which corresponds to level A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. An active participation in all teaching activities proposed in the classroom is strongly recommended.
