Animal Nutrition, Nutritional Evaluation of Feed and Feed Technology

Learning objectives
The course is aimed to teach basic nutrition, the characteristics, availability, and economics of the feed, and industrial feed technology to allow students to manage, during the third year, nutritional plans of food producing animals farmed in extensive and intensive systems. This approach will allow students to understand the role of animal nutrition in improving animal efficiency and health, food quality, and reducing environmental impact.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will have acquired the fundamental knowledge of animal nutrition, the characteristics, availability, and economics of the feed, and industrial feed technology
