Learning objectives
The aim of the esercitazioni (i.e., practical classes added to the course but that do not allow to accrue ECTS), is that students acquire and develop written, oral, interaction and mediation skills, in accordance with levels described by the Common European Framework of Reference for languages. Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR) and its subsequent revisions and updates.
Expected learning outcomes
Applying knowledge and understanding of Polish language at a proficiency level (C1/C1+): the classes are aimed at acquiring advanced communicative competence thanks to which which the student „can understand a wide range of demanding, longer clauses, and recognize implicit meaning; can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions; can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes; can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices".

Course syllabus
The practical classes are part of the course "Polish 2 MA" and last over the two semesters (1 lesson per week). Their language is exclusively Polish: Italian will be used only if necessary, for a better understanding. Students will acquire upper intermediate competences for all linguistic-communicative activities through reading and listening exercises, oral interaction and presentations, grammar and vocabulary exercises. They are asked to prepare for classes, as well as to consolidate and develop acquired knowledge and abilities through a constant self-study. The final level is C1.
Prerequisites for admission
Practical classes will be taught exclusively in Polish. Textbooks and activities in class and for self-study require that students already have a linguistic competence at level B2.

Practical classes include: frontal lessons, activities and exercises during classes, home assignments, self-study.
