Learning objectives
Experimental laboratory offers the possibility to Pharmacy students who have chosen to do an experimental thesis to convert their free credits into credits for the preparation of their thesis.
Expected learning outcomes
The evaluation of the student is based on the whole period of training during the preparation of the experimental thesis. Such evaluation will take into account his/her ability to get integrated in the working environment, to learn the techniques required for the experimental work, to apply them and also to discuss the result of his/her work in a critical manner.

Research project to be carried out during the experimental thesis.
Prerequisites for admission
The student must have chosen an experimental thesis, indicated the Experimental Laboratory course in their study plan, and possess basic knowledge of safety procedures for working in research laboratories. Students who have opted for a semi-experimental or literature-based (compilative) thesis are not eligible to participate in this educational activity.
Teaching methods
Il programma del corso consiste in un progetto di ricerca, concordato col tutor di tesi, da sviluppare attraverso il tirocinio sperimentale. Inoltre, è caldamente consigliato seguire il corso on-line BiBlioDOC e ottenere il relativo Open Badge in quanto questa attività formativa fornisce alle laureande e ai laureandi importanti competenze bibliografiche utili per la redazione della tesi di laurea. Assessment methods and Criteria
The thesis tutor evaluates the student's performance based on their conduct and accomplishments throughout the experimental research period. The evaluation is expressed as a grade out of thirty, with a minimum passing score of 18/30.
