Master Coordinator
The Vocational Master in Promoting and teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners (PROMOITALS) aims to train professionals with solid skills to teach and promote the Italian language and culture to foreigners, both in Italy and abroad.
The program has an educational and professional development objective both in the field of teaching Italian as a second or foreign language and in the promotion of the Italian language and culture in organizations, institutions and companies operating in Italy and abroad. The master's program therefore aims to meet, with university-level training, the growing demand for highly qualified personnel to work, both in Italy and abroad, in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners and promoting the Italian language and culture.
The Vocational Master consists of 500 hours (50 CFUs) of teaching - mostly online - on glottodidactic, sociolinguistic, pedagogical and interlinguistic topics and includes 200 hours of internship (8 CFUs) and a final examination (2 CFUs) consisting in writing and discussing a dissertation.

A registration fee of euro 2.516,00 is required.
The University participates in the PA 110 cum laude program of the Department of Public Administration. Discounts are available for students enrolled in the Vocational Master's programs. To be eligible for the programme, students must hold a degree in any of the following classes under former Ministerial Decree no. 270/2004: L-1 Cultural Property; L-3 Visual art, music, performing arts, and fashion; L-5 Philosophy; L-6 Geography; L-10 Literature; L-11 Modern languages and culture; L-12 Linguistic mediation; L-14 Legal services studies; L-15 Tourism studies; L-16 Administrative and organisational studies; L-18 Business administration; L-19 Child development and early childhood education; L-20 Communication; L-24 Psychology: theory and practice; L-33 Economics; L-36 Political science and international relations; L-37 Social studies in cooperation, development, and peace; L-39 Social work; L-40 Sociology; L- 42 History.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to evaluate the possibility of admitting holders of other university degrees based on their curriculum vitae and motivations. For foreigners, an adequate knowledge of spoken and written Italian is required, corresponding to the CILS, CELI, PLIDA, ROMA 3 certification at least at level B2.

The Vocational Master in Promoting and teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners (PROMOITALS) will train professionals qualified in teaching italian in local organisations, companies, private schools and Dante Alighieri Clubs in Italy and abroad.
Graduates will be qualified in:
- acting as linguistic facilitators in academic or corporate setting;
- working as italian language experts and lecturers in international schools, italian cultural institutes, diplomatic corps, embassies and consulates;
- acting as experts in promoting italian language and culture, designing cultural events, administering and managing italian language and culture classes;
- acting as consultants in cultural and religious tourism markets, in international trade offices or in Italy?s Chambers of commerce located overseas, in Italy?s Help Desks established overseas by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Graduates will be qualified in:
