Graduating in Health Professions (Undergraduate programmes)

To be awarded a bachelor's or master's degree students may sit the final exam on set dates distributed in 2 sessions minimum each year:

  • first session: from October to November
  • second session: from March to April

Students who graduate by the second session of academic year need not pay the first instalment for next academic year.

The graduation application must be submitted online by the deadline set for your session. Do not hand it in to the Student Registrar.


The payment of the € 116.00 graduation fee (including the € 16.00 stamp duty) may be made through Pago PA:

  • when submitting the online application, or
  • after submitting the graduation application, through the payment service 

Upcoming graduate survey
Upcoming graduates are required to fill in the survey within the term set for each session.
You can access the survey only after submitting the graduation application.
Failure to fill in the survey by the deadline will result in exclusion from the graduation session.

Deadlines, procedures and graduation calendars
Deadlines, calendars and procedures are different depending on the degree programme.

    Each application is valid for a single exam session.

    Students who forfeit an exam must promptly notify the Registrar through the Informastudenti Service. Students must submit another application through the online procedure, indicating the newly chosen exam session.

    Once paid, the graduation fee is valid for the new session also. Postponements are not allowed.

    The final exam

    Bachelor's degree programmes in Health Professions end with a practical in which students demonstrate that they have acquired the theoretical-practical and technical-operative knowledge and skills relevant to their professional profile, as well as a final work presented during their final exam.

    It is organized in two session:

    • first session: october - november
    • second session: march - april


    Students are required to pay the €200 fee for qualification to practice as health professionals prior to sitting the final exam. The payment is generated upon submitting the graduation application, together with to the graduation fee.

    Those who did not pass the practical exam in the previous final exam session must pay the 200 euro fee again.

    You must prepare your dissertation presentation using the Microsoft Office 2010 Powerpoint application or later versions.

    Please note that the following software programmes are installed on the classroom PC:

    • 64-bit Windows 7
    • 64-bit Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • VLC
    • QuickTime 7
    • 32-bit LibreOffice (Word Processor, Spreadsheet, Presentations)
    • 64-bit Acrobat Reader 11.

    The films supported by MS Office 2010 within PowerPoint presentations or Word documents must be exclusively in WMV format.
    The University logistics centre for education (Caslod) will only provide PC technical support, and will not assist students with their dissertation files.

    For the degree courses of Health Assistance, Professional Education, PhysioTherapy, Dental Hygiene, Nursing, Midwifery and Podiatry:

    • Final exams: October - November 2020
    • Online application for graduation: form 1 to 30 September 2020
    • Graduand questionnaire completion deadline: within 30 September 2020
    • Deadline for completing exams: 30 September 2020
    • Deadline for completing traineeship: 30 September 2020
    • Online thesis submission: within one week from the dissertation of the thesis

    For the degree courses of  Dietetics, Pediatric Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy, Orthoptic and Ophtalmologic Assistance, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Techniques, Audiometric Techniques, Audioprosthetic Techniques, Environment and Workplace Prevention Techniques, Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, Neurophysiopathology Techniques, Imaging and Radiotherapy Techniques, Orthopaedics Techniques, Childhood neuro and psycomotricity, Cardiocirculatory and Cardiovascular Perfusion Techniques, Occupational therapy:

    • Final exams: November - December 2020
    • Online application for graduation: from 1 to 31 October 2020
    • Graduand questionnaire completion deadline: within 31 October 2020
    • Deadline for completing exams: 30 September 2020
    • Deadline for completing traineeship: 30 November 2020
    • Online thesis submission: within one week from the dissertation of the thesis

    Winter session (second session - single round) - a.y. 2019/2020

    • Final exams: March - April 2021
    • Online application for graduation: from 4 December 2020 to 31 January 2021
    • Graduand questionnaire completion deadline: within 31 January 2021
    • Deadline for completing exams and traineeship: 29 January 2020
    • Online thesis submission: within one week from the dissertation of the thesis

    L'appello straordinario di laurea sarà riservato agli studenti iscritti al fuori corso nell'anno accademico 2020/21 (o all'ultimo anno in corso nel 2019/20) in difetto di non più di due esami rispetto al piano di studio al momento della domanda di laurea (esclusi laboratori, altre attività, accertamenti).

    Non sono ammessi gli studenti in debito dell’esame di tirocinio.

    Per il mese di maggio 2021, i corsi di laurea definiranno appelli d’esame straordinari a cui potranno iscriversi solo gli studenti che abbiano presentato la domanda di laurea per l'appello straordinario di laurea 2019/2020.

    Sessione straordinaria a.a. 2019/2020 (delibera Senato Accademico 16 marzo 2021)

    • Periodo esami di laurea: dal 7 al 15 giugno 2021
    • Presentazione domanda di laurea online: dal 21 aprile 2021 al 29 aprile 2021
    • Compilazione del questionario laureandi obbligatorio: entro il 29 aprile 2021
    • Termine per sostenere gli esami: 21 maggio 2021
    • Deposito online elaborato finale: entro il 31 maggio 2021
