How to request spaces for events
As part of its teaching, research, science dissemination and cultural outreach activities, the University of Milan offers plenty of venues for small and large scale events. These spaces are bookable by internal and external parties, provided that the event that they intend to organise is consistent with the institutional image of the University.
By offering its spaces as event venues, the University is looking to leverage its real estate assets while at the same time ensuring their sustainability. The goal is to distribute activities strategically and evenly across the various campuses of the University, with particular attention to the management of historical-artistic sites.
Our spaces
On its several campuses, the University offers a variety of spaces ideal for hosting a diverse range of initiative and events. Spaces available for booking include:
- the Great Hall on the Via Festa del Perdono campus
- the Levi Room on the Città Studi campus (Via Valvassori Peroni)
- teaching laboratories
- an audio and video recording studio
- outdoor spaces or roofed venues within historical buildings
- the Brera and Città Studi botanical gardens.
Rates and requests
Spaces can be booked free of charge or for a fee, as per the fee list attached to the Rules for temporary use of university spaces. In certain cases, the amount to be paid is limited to a flat reimbursement of expenses.
To book a venue, please submit your request via the online form at least 60 days before the planned date of the event.
