Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students knowledges on additives that can be used in animal husbandry, replacing antibiotics for auxinic use, with particular reference to phytogenics one. The student will be led, also through practical exercises, to recognize additives insidethe diet of farm animals and the purpose of inclusion.
Expected learning outcomes
At the end of the course the student will be able to place the additives within the framework Regulation and through the bibliographic research of scientific articles and the related discussion will develop a critical judgment ability on the effects of additives in animal farm.

Medicinal Plant Chain and transformations

Assessment methods and Criteria
The examination consists of the discussion of a scientific article on the use of natural additives in zootechnical specie and in a written test to ascertain knowledge of the theory. The material available on the Ariel platform allows the formulation of questions aimed at verifying knowledge of the topic.
