Double Degree

The single-cycle programme in Law is intended to offer in-depth, comprehensive training, which is both systematic and methodological, in the field of legal institutions, taking account of their national and international dimension and employing a wide interdisciplinary cultural perspective.

Law graduates can either pursue classic legal professions, such as the Bar, the magistracy or the profession of notary public, or other professional occupations which require an in-depth knowledge of the law, in a freelance or employed capacity.

Completion of the single-cycle programme in Law provides the only valid qualification for entering a specialisation school for the legal professions.

Application and admission: Open.

A self-assessment test is required, to be taken before enrolment.

Additional learning obligations (OFA)

OFA: Disciplines

Students who do not pass the entrance examination on basic general knowledge, comprehension and logic, are assigned additional learning obligations (OFA) that they must fulfil in accordance with the provisions of the Programme Structure.

OFA: english language

To sit the legal English exam included in the plan of study, students must have level B2 proficiency in English. Proficiency may be certified at the time of matriculation by submitting a certificate of level B2 language proficiency or better, or by sitting the SLAM (University Language Centre) Placement test during the first year of studies only, between September and December. Students who do not pass the test must follow the SLAM language courses and obtain appropriate certification within the year the plan of study calls for a language exam.

Double degrees

Students with in-depth knowledge of foreign languages who wish to complete part of their university studies abroad may complete periods of study in various foreign universities, thereby obtaining an academic qualification from both their home university and the foreign one (Double Degree).

In particular, the Law degree course has established an agreement with Université de Toulouse (France) and Université de Cergy-Pontoise (France), which allows the acquisition of both Italian and French degrees.
