The Vocational Master in Oncological pharmacy and pharmacology intends to broaden the managerial, pharmacological, toxicological, technical, pharmaceutical and legal competencies of healthcare professionals, with the aim of ensuring a comprehensive management of oncological therapies.

The scientific acquisitions in terms of therapeutic and biotechnological approaches to the management of oncological treatments, as governed by existing regulations, require an ever-growing level of competence, expertise and continuous professional development regarding the supply, dispensation and safe preparation of oncological therapies. The Vocational Master in Oncological pharmacy and pharmacology intends therefore to match the growing healthcare system demand for experts in pharmacy and oncological pharmacology.

The study plan will consist of 212 hours (26 CFUs) of face-to-face teaching and 276 hours (18 CFUs) of other forms of training, with 16 hours (2 CFUs) of e-learning teaching activities. To complete the programme, students must take a 300 hours (12 CFUs) of internship and a final examination (2 CFUs) consisting of the presentation and discussion of the experimental data obtained during the curricular internship. A total of 60 CFUs will be recognized for the course activities.

Teaching is structured as follows:

- pathological anatomy in oncology
- innovative therapies in oncology
- pharmacogenomics aspects in oncology and customized therapies
- surgical therapies and clinical development of new therapies
- pharmaceutical laboratory and management of oncological therapies
- oncological pathology and other therapies
- management of oncological therapies
- immunological therapy and new biotechnological approaches in oncology
- theoretical-practical course on professional integrations in the clinical therapeutic pathway of the oncological patient at the european institute of oncology (IEO)

Admitted applicants must pay an enrolment fee amounting to euro 4.016 (reduced to 2416 euros for those who have attended the Advanced Course in Oncological Pharmacy).

The University participates in the PA 110 cum laude program of the Department of Public Administration. Discounts are available for students enrolled in the Vocational Master?s programs.
