Master Coordinator
The Vocational Master in Global Health, sponsored by Intesa Sanpaolo, focuses on the study of major global health issues, from a multidisciplinary and international perspective. Graduates from the programme will be able to understand and analyze health problems with a focus on the economic and social determinants of disease or health, and to identify innovative solutions for multidisciplinary actions, thus moving beyond a sectoral approach. The programme is delivered entirely in English in e-learning mode.
The Vocational Master will consist of 249 hours (25 CFUs) of face-to-face teaching and 277 hours (20 CFUs) of other forms of training. To complete the programme, students must take a 250 hours (10 CFUs) of internship and a final exam (5 CFUs) consisting of the preparation and discussion of a thesis. A total of 60 CFUs are awarded for the vocational master.

-Quantitative methods in global health: epidemiology & biostatistics
-Research, evidence and policy making
-Health data generation, analysis and use
-Global burden of disease
-Social and economic determinants of health
-The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from a multidisciplinary perspective
-Global infectious challenges
-Global health challenges
-Advocacy and communication for global health promotion
-International cooperation and humanitarian action as tools in global health
-Health system, universal coverage, social protection, non-state sector
-Essentials of health economics
-Principles of health management
-Innovations in Global Health: the omics and digital health
-Global Health at the Human-Animal-Ecosystem Interface
-Global health and the law: international and national regulations
-Global health diplomacy, governance and policies
Admitted applicants must pay an enrolment fee amounting to 6,516.00 euros.
The Vocational Master will consist of 249 hours (25 CFUs) of face-to-face teaching and 277 hours (20 CFUs) of other forms of training. Admitted applicants must pay an enrolment fee amounting to 6,516.00 euros.
Applicants may apply for admission if they have a Master's or single-cycle degree pursuant to Ministerial Decree 270/2004 or an equivalent qualification obtained from a foreign university.
Job opportunities range from the local and national public sectors (ministries of health, foreign affairs, cooperation, etc.) to international agencies (UN), from non-government organizations to public-private partnerships funding international projects and to private health companies.
