PhD positions for employees of companies and other entities
Public competitions for admission to industrial doctoral programmes can include a number of places reserved for employees of companies and other entities engaged in highly-qualified professional activities, provided that they pass the relevant selection process.
The industrial PhD programme offered by the University of Milan is the "PhD in Intersectoral Innovation". To create positions reserved for employees of specific entities within this programme, the University and the sponsoring entity must sign an ad-hoc agreement, including an individual training plan for the future PhD candidate.
Companies and other entities can express their interest in funding PhD positions reserved for their staff by sending the agreement template, duly filled in and signed, to the Faculty of Instructors of the PhD programme in Intersectoral Innovation (email address: [email protected]).
Please note that the proposed individual training plan (Annex A) is an integral part of the agreement.
The Faculty of Instructors will evaluate the proposed training plan and get back to the proposing entity.
If the proposal is accepted, the University will sign the agreement and create PhD positions reserved for employees of the proposing entity within the competition for admission to the PhD in Intersectoral Innovation.
