Water and reducing plastic waste
The university promotes the sustainable use of water resources and the reduction of plastic waste through actions and interventions aimed at influencing water consumption habits.
In particular, the university has addressed this issue by installing four water kiosks and 72 drinking water dispensers for use by departments, staff and students.
The university promotes the SAFEFOOD@UNIMI project, which involves microbiological analysis of the water supplied to ensure compliance with health and hygiene standards.
