The degree program will have restricted admission pursuant to Law no. 264/1999.
The number of available places is determined annually by the relevant academic bodies, following an evaluation of the structural, instrumental, and staffing resources required to support the program.
Admission to the program is contingent upon passing an entrance examination designed to assess basic competencies and personal preparation. The entrance test will consist of a written examination with multiple-choice questions aimed at evaluating logical reasoning skills, reading comprehension (in Italian), logic, basic biology, basic statistics, and general psychology.
Detailed information regarding the bibliography and structure of the entrance examination will be provided in the Admission Notice and on the webpage https://sco.cdl.unimi.it/it/iscriversi.

Graduates holding a degree in the following classes ? or those with an equivalent qualification obtained abroad and recognized as valid ? are eligible to sit for the entrance test:

The B1-level requirement will be ascertained by the University Language Centre (SLAM) upon admission as follows:
- Language certificate at or above B1, obtained no more than three years earlier. For the list of language certificates recognized by the University please review: (https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39267). The certificate must be uploaded when submitting the online application;
- English level achieved during a University of Milan degree programme and certified by the University Language Centre (SLAM) no more than four years before the date of admission application, including levels based on language certificates submitted by the applicants during their Bachelor?s degree at the University of Milan. In this case the process is automatic, the applicant does not have to attach any certificates to the application;
- Entry test administrated by the University Language Centre (SLAM) according to the calendar published on the website: (https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39267)
All those who fail to submit a valid certificate or do not meet the required proficiency level will be instructed during the admission procedure to take the Entry test.
Applicants who do not take or pass the Entry test will be required to obtain a language proficiency certificate recognized by the University (see: https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39322) and deliver it to the SLAM via the InformaStudenti service by the deadline fixed for the master?s programme (https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39267/).
Applicants who do not meet the requirement by said deadline will not be admitted to the master's degree programme and may not sit any further tests.

I laureati in Scienze Cognitive e Processi Decisionali potranno svolgere tali attività in forma libero-professionale e anche di
consulenza presso enti pubblici e privati, in particolare nell'ambito di:
- enti di ricerca privati e pubblici;
- aziende private;
- aziende ospedaliere;
- pubbliche amministrazioni;
- enti di formazione.
I laureati avranno inoltre acquisito conoscenze e competenze che permetteranno loro di perseguire ulteriori obiettivi formativi di alta formazione (come, per esempio, dottorati di ricerca): potranno applicare competenze avanzate nelle scienze cognitive
utilizzando metodologie simulative, osservative e sperimentali al fine di verificare ipotesi scientifiche partendo dallo studio dei sistemi intelligenti, siano essi naturali o artificiali.
Il corso di studi fornirà inoltre le competenze necessarie per effettuare attività di ricerca nell'ambito dell'analisi e sviluppo di sistemi legati alle prestazioni cognitive umane e della progettazione avanzata di interfacce e di sistemi ergonomici.
Il corso prepara alla professione di (codifiche ISTAT):

Employment statistics (Almalaurea)
Il Corso di Laurea in Scienze Cognitive e Processi Decisionali ha da sempre sviluppato un grande interesse per l'internazionalizzazione, formulando accordi di scambio con varie università europee.
Erasmus: Attualmente, i programmi di scambio Erasmus attivi riguardano le Università di Maastricht (Olanda), Osnabruck (Germania) e Mons (Belgio). Grazie al Programma Erasmus Plus, tali scambi permettono agli studenti lo svolgimento di corsi, attività di tirocinio, esami, e talvolta anche la stesura della tesi di laurea in contesti culturali differenti rispetto a quello italiano.
Gli studenti del Corso di Laurea in Scienze Cognitive e Processi Decisionali possono programmare il loro soggiorno Erasmus+ durante il I o il II anno di corso con una durata di 3, 6 o 9 mesi supportati da un grant.
Le attività formative previste durante il soggiorno di studio devono essere approvate dal responsabile Erasmus del Corso di Laurea. Tutte le attività proposte (concordate con l'università straniera tramite un learning agreement) sono compatibili con il piano di studi previsto dal Corso di Laurea e permettono di maturare i CFU richiesti in carriera.
Per i voti ottenuti dagli studenti negli altri Paesi Europei si utilizza la tavola di conversione ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) tramite la quale i voti saranno convertiti in trentesimi secondo una tabella approvata da tutti i Corsi di Laurea di Medicina e Chirurgia dell'Università di Milano, e infine aggiunti nel curriculum di studio dello studente. Il riconoscimento in carriera è pari a 20 CFU per 3 mesi di soggiorno studio, 30 CFU per 6 mesi e 60 CFU per 9 mesi.
Programma di Double Degree:
Oltre ai suddetti programmi di scambio, l'Università degli Studi di Milano ha stipulato un accordo bilaterale di Double Degree con l'Università di Maastricht (Olanda) che coinvolge il Corso di laurea magistrale in Scienze Cognitive e Processi Decisionali (Università degli Studi di Milano) e il Master of Science in Psychology (Università di Maastricht). Tale programma offre agli studenti del biennio la possibilità di trascorrere il primo anno di corso presso l'Università degli Studi di Milano, acquisendo le conoscenze e le competenze di base, e di specializzarsi poi in un campo di interesse specifico frequentando il secondo anno presso l'Università partner. Al raggiungimento dei requisiti accademici stabiliti da entrambe le università, gli studenti del partecipano al programma di Double Degree conseguono sia la laurea magistrale in Scienze Cognitive e Processi Decisionali, sia il diploma di laurea (Master of Science) dell'Università partner.
La frequenza non è obbligatoria, ma fortemente consigliata per tutti i corsi di insegnamento.

  • the amount of the first instalment is the same for all students and is due upon enrolment
  • the amount of the second instalment varies according to each student's ISEE University value and the degree programme in which they are enrolled
  • for international students with income and assets abroad, the second instalment varies according to their country of origin.
